Adrienne of
Motivation: Truth posted yesterday about how at home she felt in Wasilla. It is that kind of place. I really love it here. Today, Adrienne took the train from Fairbanks to Wasilla to spend just a few more days here before heading back to Fairbanks this weekend for the Governor's Picnic and Gov. Palin's last day in office. I took some pics and thought I would share them with everyone! I'm sure Adrienne will post some as well.

This is the train station in Wasilla, which is now where the Chamber of Commerce has their offices

This gave me a start - yes, it's Sarah Palin. Well, sort of. It was a cardboard cut out in the window and as I walked by, I was startled a bit just to see a face in the window. Cute though!

Here comes Adrienne's train

There she is!

Well, I think she's happy to be back!
How awesome, Tracey! You are a great photographer. I normally hate myself in pictures. These turned out to be so wonderful! Thank you for capturing my journey and my sheer delight to be back in God's Country Country. No, that's not a mistake; I meant to write Country twice. Why? Well, ALL of Alaska is God's country, but Wasilla is even more so, so it's like God's country within God's Country!
ReplyDeleteLove ya, Sis!
Followed over from Adrienne's blog...great shots! I know she hates leaving. I've never visited, but sure would like to some day.
ReplyDeleteJust wanted to say HEY from one conservative Christian homeschooling mom (I have 4 here in NC) to another!
Love these pictures. Yes, I agree with Adrienne, they are wonderful. I really like Sarah in the window. :) That is sweet.
